Electro-defect-magnetThis is my device. It is made up of a couple dozen small copper wires tightly strung around a nail, with each end exposed, one end on the negative of a battery, and the other on the positive. This structure was supposed to make a magnetic device that pulls other metallic objects towards it, but this was a failure. I am not sure if I used bad nails, wires, or batteries, but I retested this multiple times with different thicknesses of wires, different batteries, and different nails. All attempts came to failure. The nail, acting as the main electromagnet, is supposed to create a magnetic field when the current from the wires connected to the battery pass through the nail. The electricity coming from the battery, passes through the copper wire, and moves along the nail.
