What are your top values for picking a post-secondary (after high school) school?
My top values when picking a school to attend after high school would have to be a good community, so nice and supportive people around, and quality of teaching, so a good learning environment and good teachers. |
What does a “best fit” college or university look like for you?
A “best fit” college/university in my situation would be a college/university that orbits around the idea of my ideal future job, so for example, a college/university that focuses on becoming a great NASCAR driver. |

What have you learned about how to create a fulfilling career for yourself?
I have learned that to create a fulfilling career for myself, I have to work hard, and to many extents to be able to reach the most fulfilling parts of your future career. |
What is one insight, or take away, you have about your own future path based on reading about the paths of others?
One of my takeaways after reading about possible future career paths crafted by experienced personnel is that you have to make your job fun, or else you’ll be stuck in hell every single day you have to work. Find a way to make your day happy, no matter the presented struggles. |

As of right now, what are your college and career goals?
As of right now, my college goals are to obtain better grades so that I can get admitted into the college of my choice. My career goals are to be able to work the job I am wishing to do when I grow older, and be good at that job, and not resent having to do it every day, or whenever the schedule is. |
How can you make your choices in high school better aligned with your future goals?
I can change all my procrastination and resent to do school work to be able to receive the education and mindset I will need going into a career when I age up. |
YouScience (Aptitude test)
What did you learn about yourself from YouScience?
I learned that I'm actually "well fit" for teaching/upholding therapy sessions. This surprised me because I never thought of this as a serious career choice for me. |
How do you think this knowledge might impact your choice of career?
I believe this knowledge will impact my choice of career due to the fact that I have some careers to look into and have as a possibility if anything ever goes wrong. During our SLC, when asking my parent if they had any advice for future careers, they responded with, "Never stop looking." Which I found quite helpful. |
